Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026

The short version

  • No sign-up required. You can play the whole game without creating an account — an anonymous player ID is generated automatically for saving progress and leaderboards.
  • We show ads. Ad networks receive your device's advertising identifier to show and measure ads, including personalized ones where allowed.
  • Purchases go through the app store. If you buy "Remove Ads," Google Play or the App Store processes payment — we never see your card details.
  • You're in control. You can reset your advertising ID, decline ad tracking (iOS), or ask us to delete your data at any time.

What We Collect

MeowMeowMatch ("the App") is developed by Anton Dugin (Actibor). This policy explains what information the App collects, why, and who it's shared with.

Device & advertising data

To show ads and keep them relevant, our advertising partners collect your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID / Apple IDFA), coarse location derived from IP address, device model, operating system version, and how you interact with ads (views, clicks, install events).

Account & profile data

When you first open the App, we create an anonymous player ID so your progress can sync and appear on leaderboards. If you choose a nickname and avatar in your profile, that information is stored alongside your player ID. You can optionally link a Google Play Games or Game Center account — if you do, we receive the identifiers needed to keep your progress tied to that account.

Gameplay data

Coins, boosters, unlocked cats, achievement progress, and settings are stored on your device. Your score, nickname, and avatar are also stored in the cloud so leaderboards and progress can follow you across devices.

Purchase data

In-app purchases (such as removing ads) are handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store. We receive confirmation that a purchase was completed so we can unlock the corresponding content — we never receive or store your payment card details.

How We Use It

  • Saving and restoring your progress, coins, and achievements
  • Operating leaderboards and displaying your chosen nickname/avatar to other players
  • Showing and measuring ads, including frequency capping and fraud prevention
  • Unlocking content you've purchased
  • Diagnosing crashes and improving stability

We do not sell your personal information.

Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following services to function. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:

Individual ad networks in the mediation waterfall may change over time as we optimize ad performance. The current list is available on request.

Advertising & Your Choices

The App shows interstitial, rewarded, and banner ads through Unity LevelPlay. Where required, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads.

  • iOS: you'll see an App Tracking Transparency prompt before any cross-app tracking occurs. Declining means you'll still see ads, just not personalized to you.
  • Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of interest-based ads, in your device's Google Settings → Ads.
  • Removing ads: purchasing "Remove Ads" stops ad requests entirely — no more advertising data is shared with ad networks after purchase.

Storage & Retention

Gameplay settings and progress that don't need to sync across devices are stored locally on your device and removed when you uninstall the App. Data that powers leaderboards and cross-device sync (player ID, nickname, avatar, score) is retained on our cloud infrastructure for as long as your account is active, or until you request deletion.

Children's Privacy

MeowMeowMatch is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details below and we'll remove it.

Your Rights & Data Deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.

How to request deletion

To delete your player data — your nickname, avatar, cloud save, and leaderboard entries — email [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request" and tell us the nickname you use in the game, so we can find your record. We'll confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data from your device, but cloud data (leaderboard entries, cloud saves) is only removed when you submit a deletion request.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves — for example, when we add a new feature or ad network. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
